COLOR BLOCKING QUILT

Color blocking is the hottest technique this season! You will see it everywhere, from home textiles to fashion. We decided to design a tone on tone collection using black and white designs on a colored base. We picked all of our fabric from a fat quarter bundle so the fabrics blend together seamlessly. The designs consist of animals, flowers and classic quilting shapes. The end result is beautiful. Our main project is a place mat. The place mat is created using 6-6” blocks. We also include individual designs as a bonus to use on napkin corners.
